Student Life camp was great.  Everything was good except the food.  The food was average and the wait time was awful.  One thing I really enjoyed was watching a Servant Life promo video.  Jonathan had texted me to say that several of our students were in the video.  After hearing this I was highly anticipating the video.  About five different students were in the video and it was neat seeing them on the big screens.  I visited the compassion hut and saw they had several pictures of mission trips and compassion children decorating the hut.  One picture stood out just a little bit more though…

Yesterday we had water games and it felt good to cool off in the hot Florida sun.  We decided to skip the cafeteria and go to Gators Bar & Grill for Supper.  Apparently you don’t want to get the popcorn shrimp because a couple of folks got sick.  Several students adopted compassion kids and several heard from God.

Yesterday was great.  We had a fun packed day and Darren Whitehead connected with the students through the word.   Our final worship service for the night was cut short because of a fire in the air conditioner unit.  It all worked out though, we grabbed some ice cream from the local “Friendly’s.”

Yesterday was our first full day of camp. Everyone had a blast. We were challenged from the stage and had fun in the sun at recreation.
