Yesterday I did something really dumb. This isn’t a new thing for me, but yesterday really made me say, “Awwww man”. I had taken my lawn mower into the shop to get worked on and serviced. I loaded my ramps into my truck and went to pick it up. When I got there, I checked in and told them I was there to get it. They called to the back, and I said I was going to get my ramps ready. The owner explained to me that he had some ramps and they would even load it for me. So I went inside and when I came back out, he asked “Do you have some rope to tie it down”? I told him yes and decided to pull up and let other folks have access to the receiving area. When I looked into my back window I saw my mower roll right off my truck and crash onto the payment. When I got out of the truck, all I could do was laugh. When I load the mower into the truck I always have to drive it into the bed, so I leave it in gear and it doesn’t roll anywhere. So I assumed they did the same thing, but they just pushed it into the bed, and left it in neutral. They started the engine and it came back on, so I took it home. When I got it home, the deck had broken (without me realizing it) and I scalped a good 4 feet of my backyard. So I raised the blade all the way up and cut my back yard. My mower never really “sounded” right, so I took it back to get looked at.

Moral of the story: Don’t Assume Anything – And Now You Know, and Knowing Is Half The Battle!

One of my favorite things to do is to watch Cartoons. Lately I haven’t made the time to sit down and watch any cartoons so today I am listing my top 5 cartoons of all times.

5. The Smurfs (And not their underwater ripoff friends -The Snorks)
I loved watching the smurfs.

4. Super Friends
I always loved when they did Justice League episodes and not Caveman episodes. “Meanwhile back at the Hall of Justice”

3. He-Man and The Masters of The Universe
This show was awesome! My mom even let me go and see the movie on the big screen! My favorite character was Ram-Man. “By the power of Greyskull.”

2. Transformers (Not Go-bots)
This was a great cartoon. I loved it. They even have a movie coming out soon.

1.GI-Joe
This was the best cartoon ever. I loved the comic books and the cartoon. They even had a lame service announcement most every episode. GI-Joe! “And knowing is half the battle”

What were your favorites?

This episode had more foreshadowing then I can remember in any previous episodes. Nikki must be coming back, just like she said on the expose set. Locke said what is buried is always dug back up. I guess we finally know why Paulo kept going to the bathroom. Why wouldn’t he share with the other 815 passengers that he had a walkie talkie.

Well, I have reported this several times but I want to go on record again. Harry Potter is dead! When J called me she didn’t know what to do, so I told her, just kill the little boy off. I mean, hogwarts, smogwarts, c’mon, its not like anybody reads those books any longer.

I am serving with the missions team that is headed to Bay St. Louis MS next month. We are going there to help rebuild the Gulf area. One of the requirements is to have a current Tetanus shot.
Today I went to the Health Department and got a Tetanus & Diphtheria Vaccine (Td). It was a quick process that only took 15 minutes and cost $15.

I found out this interesting tidbit while getting my shot, I have been alive for 31 years, 11 months, and 17 days.
The last time and only other time I have had the Td shot was May 29th 1990.

Hopefully you have a favorite blog that you visit daily. One of my favorite blogs to surf is David Crowder’s Blog. He went a long time without updating and I became very tired of stopping by and seeing the same old thing (I bet you know a few blogs who NEVER update).

Well the David Crowder Band is putting together a new album and David Crowder is blogging about it.

While at lunch the band ran into Ted Nugent and after several posts, he is going to play on the upcoming album! Here is a quote from David Crowder’s blog:

when we asked him if he’d play on a tune he said, and i quote, “sure. you guys pick out the vehicle and i’ll come over and turn it into a four wheel drive.”

2 of my final four picks have made it. UCLA & Ohio State. Hopefully UCLA will win it all.

Through a tree we were made debtors to God; so through a tree we have our debt canceled.
