Last night Dinner Theaters went good. We had a packed house and a great meal. Some of the students had the jitters but for the most part they did an awesome job. They really did better this year, talking to and welcoming guests. It was a good night. Zuper John was a hit and his autographed souvenirs were huge also. We still have some room for tonight’s performance.

Dinner Theaters are this weekend. We are having 3 performances. All the ticket money is due tonight, so we should know how many people are coming by tonight. Tonight is a big dinner theater practice. After church I will stay and hopefully see some great & funny skits. It’s going to be great! If you haven’t gotten your ticket yet, you can email me and I will reserve you a ticket. The worst year of my life was my 9th grade year. It was horrible. I was forced to attend Gilead Christian Academy. This is an ultra conserative “christian” school. I learned so many things about how not to live the Christian Life.

I am finishing up some items for my lesson tomorrow night and I stumbled across this old letter. It was a letter I received telling me that my hair was to long and that I needed a haircut. Verbally I was told that I couldn’t come back to school until it was cut.

I look back and think it’s funny. Lots of schools have dress codes and having your hair cut to a certain length is their policy, but Gilead was horrible in all areas.

One time they demanded that we get a letter signed by our parents saying that we would not attend the “New Kids On The Block” concert being held at the Macon Coliseum.

No wonder, some Christians seem like no-fun; fuddy dudds all the time.

According to HillaryClinton.com, she is planning a committee to explore the possibility of running for president.

I think she will win.

The only way that I think she will lose, is if the republicans put a woman at vice president. Such a woman could be Condoleeza Rice. What are your thoughts?

So last night I went with my buddy Jason to Tattnall to watch the boys basketball game. It was a fun night. I knew 4 of the 5 starters on the tattnall team. They had either been in my youth group at one time or I knew one of their parents. Jason and I cheered on his nephew as they barely beat Stratford. Stratford didn’t have the cheering section that I remembered them having in the past. They used to just “be little” opposing players and refs.  It was a great night and I really like Tattnall’s new gym.

So I just got through with Pirates 2. Yeah I know, it came out last summer. I have been thinking about checking out this new movie coming out soon called “Footloose”. I hear its supposed to be really good!

7. June 29th Live Free or Die Hard (I’ve seen all the others, so why not this one?)

8. July 4th Transformers (ok, I admit it, I still play with my transformers, but you’re probably mad cause your folks made you play with Go-Bots)

9. July 13th Harry Potter (Harry dies in this one, & Bizzaro Harry rules Hogwarts)

10. Aug 3rd The Bourne Ultimatum (Matt Damon plays one bad nacho in these movies)

11. Nov 7th American Gangster (Denzel Washington is one of my favorite actors)

12. Nov 16th Beowulf (The one book I almost finished)
