So Lost starts back next wednesday, I am very excited.  I saw that a local church was pushing a big night with a speaker on Oct 4th, Did they not know Lost premiered that night?  Maybe I should have a huge Lost party, but then I would have some stoney people to say “I’m not coming to that, I don’t even know why ya’ll watch Lost” and blah blah blah.  So my best bet is to watch it at my house, or hospital with the volume up and enjoy it myself.

Last night I entered for some free nuggets. Did I win? Nope. So I tell Jonathan don’t forget to enter…He enters and guess what? He wins!!!

We’ve been having some awesome weather lately.  The kind where you roll the windows down and just let the wind blow through the truck.  It’s awesome!  I love football season, the Dawgs have some easy games early, and hopefully they captalize and get the offense together.  Gun season is just around the corner.  I just love it.

This morning I went out to Smiley’s to check out the deals.  I didn’t get anything but I did stop by Nuway.  What a morning!  Smiley’s and Nuway for Breakfast!

Right now I am listening to the UGA game and taking a break from doing some projects.

Today I was a sub at FPD.  It was a good day.  I subbed for the 6th grade science class.  I think I know more about the ecosystem of prairie dogs and the habitat of beers than I ever want to know.  The classes were good but I had to answer alot of questions.  Non stop questions.  6th graders love questions.  During my planning period I worked on my upcoming sermon for Sunday.  Lunch was good.  I love FPD lunch because it is all you can eat.  It’s good food too.  I even had two of my students in my classes.  It’s always the same though, “What are you doing here”?  You would think they could figure it out, when I am lounging in the teacher’s chair.

Tomorrow the game is only on pay per view.  And I turned down 2 tickets to the game because I thought I would still be working.  Arrrrghhhhhhh.  (Yeah I know Talk like a pirate day is 4 days away, but I want to be at the game!)

I may practice shooting my bow.  But then again I’m not bow hunting this year.  So maybe I should just read some deer magazines…..

I am just working on some stuff and watching the easter eggs on the Lost dvd’s.  Tonight I am going to see my Alma Mater take on Monroe.  I will be cheering on Matthew.  Maybe he will be the human highlight reel!

Just got back from Best Buy and I purchased Lost Season 2.  I’ve been putting back some cash cause I knew it would be out soon.

While I was there I asked a question to the Best Buy worker in the DVD section.  (Don’t do this if you don’t have to!)

The guy really acted like he didn’t want to help me.  So I asked “Do you know anything about the bonus disc for the Lost season 2 set?”

He replied “Yeah, what do you want to know?”  I said “Where is it?”  So he said “In the box”

Well this didn’t sound right to me, because last year with season 1 they attached it the back of the box.  So I asked, “Are you sure?”

He said “Yep” and walked away.  So I followed him and he acted like he was really mad.  Now the only reason I followed him was because I couldn’t find anyone else in any of the sections near the DVDs.  I told him how last year’s was on the back of the box.  So he replies “Look I don’t know, I haven’t bought that.”  So I reply “You don’t know or you do know?”  He says, “I don’t know”  It’s funny to me how quickly he didn’t know anymore.  So I said “Is there anyone who can help me?”  He said “Nope.”

So I decided to go and rummage through the boxes looking for one that might have the bonus disc.  And guess what?  I found one in the back of the display.  Are you kidding me?

What if I would have left and got home and opened my new Season 2 and not found my bonus disc.

Exactly I would’ve called Chuck Norris!

Just got home from eating and 6Forty.  It was a great night.  I began a 3 week series about impacting the world around you and tonight I talked about not being defeated so you could impact the world around you.  The music has been great lately.  The music has really been setting the tone for the message.  Tonight our attendance was off a little.  Some of our regulars were out for different reasons.
