Well I have thought about it for a long time and after talking to Heather, I decided to sign up to be a mentor.  I contacted the big brothers and big sisters of middle georgia.  I signed up on their website and gave all of my information.  After submitting the form it told me someone would contact me within 48 hours.  Well it has been a week and noone has contacted me.  So earlier I call them and they tell me someone will call me today.  Noone!  Are you kidding me?

What ever happened to customer service?  Don’t even get me started on fast food service.

Last night was our first dinner theater. It was hard for me not to think back when I was in my youth group and getting ready for those dinner theaters. It was so much fun hanging out with all of my buddies and being able to get on stage and just have fun. Ours went great last night. We had 88 folks attend the first night. There was even a guest apperance that suprised quite a few folks. The food was excellent. How am I going to keep my slim and trim figure if I keep sneaking food back?

This weekend we are having our annual dinner theaters. Hopefully some of my slack students will sell a million tickets today and tomorrow. But then again jokes are really funny when only 3 people are watching…

This weekend my phone decided that it was time to start messing up. It decided to delete itself. So I tried everything I knew and it still didn’t fix it. So then I went to the T-mobile store and they couldn’t fix it either. So I had to call the 1-800 number and they charged me $10 to restore all of my numbers. “Would you like all 170 contacts restored?” Actually that was a good question. I got them all, but what if I picked who I wanted to keep and who I wanted to get rid of? Now that wouldn’t be nice. How could I screen my calls if you weren’t in my phone?

Do you need to buy something?

I have been awful busy this past week. Yesterday was just kind of the midlde of what seems to be a packed month. When I look at February I am not sure if I will make it. Let’s see this past week:

Wednesday was cool. The youth room was packed with students and they were just plugged into every word I was saying. Some of my students have really matured over the past 3 years. I can say that I am quite proud of some of them! Wednesday evening I came home and watched Lost. 1st thing, Jack, if you are going into the Jungle let’s not forget to bring along a few extras. Mr. Ecko should be your personal body guard. Sahid should never be far from your side and Anna Lucia is ready to bust a cap into someone, Don’t leave her behind!

Thursday, I had some long range planning. That’s code for adding a million things to my to list.

Friday, I substituted at a local high school. I have been subbing for 6 years now and every year kids don’t think I am sub. Do you have to have some kind of enginneering degree for teenagers to think you can handle babysitting a class of students? I had this one kid cry in class when this other girl said “Why don’t you goto Taco Bell and eat some taco’s”. That actually sounds like something I would like to do. Maybe my skin has just gotten to thick. Maybe if she would have told me “Why don’t you go eat a carrot” Now that is something to cry about!

Friday evening I hung out with some of my friends.

Saturday I went into the office to get some stuff done. I left there and went to the car dealership to get my car’s windsheild wiper fluid system fixed. I took it in about 4 months ago to get it fixed and they said it was a tube. They fixed it for free. This time I looked around and I coudn’t find any tubes out so I figured my bottle busted. Nope, it was just a tube. But this time they charged me $42 to put that tube back in.

Saturday evening I went to watch a soccer game. Alan & Patrick are going pro!

Let’s see, The number one question I asked yesterday. “Are you planning on going to youth camp this summer?” The number one answer “I don’t know”

The bonfire was fun. I just don’t think I have a chance to be in the club. Good thing I started my own. I already elected Cori as the President! Maybe your can run in 07.

Well my internet has been down for 2 days. When I got cox back out here, they got it up and running but somehow my computer lost over half of it’s stuff and all of my links.

So for now, you may just get a bunch of ramblings…

I hate having bad dreams. I wake up and they seem so real. I didn’t eat any crazy foods before I went to bed. Maybe I should think of sheep jumping fences before I goto bed. Or is that bad too?

Today, I am starting back my education staff meetings. It should help me stay more ontop of things. Last night I stayed for the dinner theater practice, the skits seemed really funny. I think it’s going to be a really good year.

Life is messy.

Tonight while I was out to eat, I listened to conversations around me. People try and pretend they have it all together. Like their life is just perfect.

It just overcame me. The secret cough. Now it is gone. Did I just make it up? Was it there all along? I wonder what I will do this weekend? Maybe knock off some of my list.
